Quick post from my phone.
Redoing my thirteen year old daughters room for her 14th Birthday.
Recycling a few things, giving them new life- a.ka. - spray paintin them black!
SPRAY PAINT SUCKS!!!!! And it doesn't come off!!!!!! See how nicely it goes with my purple, glittered nail tips? Yeah, I've already used a scouring brush.
Bedroom makeover pics to come next week! Wish me luck, this is for the 'pickier' daughter.
There is always room for humor in our day to day lives. Sometimes even your worst day can sound humorous when told days later as a 'story'. In this blog, I will re-tell the 'stories' of my day. With four kids, a husband, a cat, a part time job in an office, and a full time job as a Mama, believe me, I will have stories to tell. So if you are interested, read on. You may find you are chuckling a bit, relating alot, and if nothing else, you may be slightly entertained.

Before I read the actual post, I thought you'd contracted Leprosy. Whew. Close one.
ReplyDeleteLOL!!! Leprosy!!! That is funny, I posted this from my phone, and it did not let me change which picture came first. Afterwards, I looked it up and realized the picture does look a bit.......uhhhh........lepered. It is spray paint. Pinky Promise!
Deleteleprosy? I was thinking more along the lines of zombie type of thingy, is it called zombification? (spell check says nooo).
ReplyDeleteSometimes when I don't have my morning coffee, I feel a zombification effect taking over.
DeleteSpell check doesn't know everything ;)
Love the coat rack....and hey maybe you can start a new trend on the nails?? You have been an encouragement to me to get back to work on my daughters room...might have to share my nails too...her room is also going purple!
ReplyDeleteA neighbor was throwing the coat rack away in the trash,so I made my older daughter run up the street and grab it for me.
DeleteThe whole room re-do is a bit daunting, but at the same time SUPER fun! I treat it like the show Extreme Home Makeover, but I call it, Mini-not so extreme Room Makeover. She is leaving for the day, so when she comes home it'll be a SURPRISE! She knows it is happening, but has to stay away for the process.
Have fun with your daughters room! Purple was my daughters 2nd choice. She is going for Teal.
I can't wait to see more pics and I love the purple tips! :D
